Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain seeks a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment, following department protocols and standards. This role includes patient preparation, contrast administration, image quality assessment, and collaboration with Radiologists.

This PRN, part-time position requires ARRT certification, BLS, and the ability to work variable schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment.
• Prepare patients and obtain complete medical history for procedures.
• Verify orders with Radiologist; document procedures and contrast administration.
• Ensure image quality and follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique.
