Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in line with departmental protocols. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure patient safety during imaging processes.

The role requires ARRT radiologic or NMTCB CT registry within one year of hire and BLS. You will rotate shifts and participate in a dynamic radiology team within a 67-bed hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and refers questions to Radiologist before exams.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews patient history and EMRs to obtain pertinent clinical information.
• Assumes responsibility for the exam from start to dictation of results.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast per departmental protocols.
• Evaluates image quality and consults Radiologist when needed.
• Performs basic patient care and supports life safety measures during emergencies.
• Operates CT and radiology systems and documents contrast administration in MAR.
