Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency. You will verify orders, consult radiologists, and prepare patients while documenting procedures. The role requires ARRT-certified radiology or NMTCB credentials and CT registry within one year, plus BLS.

Work includes patient history interviews, image quality evaluation, and collaboration with radiology staff in a fast-paced care setting. This is a part-time position in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT Scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify requests and consult Radiologist for discrepancies before exams.
• Prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and document procedures in the MAR.
• Perform CT scanning, assess image quality, and assist during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices and assist in emergencies.
