Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, deliver high-quality diagnostic images, and provide compassionate patient care within a collaborative team.

Required qualifications include ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS, a completed accredited Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience. The role emphasizes ALARA, safety, and clear communication with patients and staff.

Qualificações

• Education must include an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT-R/CT certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and prep rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Document findings and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies when required.
• Support department workflow and keep areas stocked and organized.
