Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and ensure a supportive patient experience. The role requires performing CT procedures, maintaining safety protocols, and collaborating with a seasoned care team.

The successful candidate will have ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, ensuring quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers/shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and re-scan if needed.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS accurately and timely.
