Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and deliver high-quality imaging with patient-centered care.

Join a collaborative imaging team, adhere to ALARA principles, maintain equipment, document studies, and support patient comfort and safety throughout the exam. Requires ARRT credentials and 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to minimize anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Document exams accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
