Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care within a collaborative team in Georgia. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging records in RIS/PACS.

The role requires ARRT credentials (Radiography and CT) and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a focus on ALARA principles and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Prepare, contrast administration, and venipuncture where applicable.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and ensure proper transfers and retrieval.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as required.
• Maintain workstation and restock supplies; support department flow.
