Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment safely, following ALARA principles, obtaining clinical history, preparing patients, and documenting exams in RIS/PACS. ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS required; minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience requirement: minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications required: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Document exams accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS; manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment.
• Collaborate with other technologists to support department workflow.
