Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography procedures and deliver a supportive patient experience. The technologist will follow ALARA principles and work within a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to minimize dose (ALARA).
• Prepare exam rooms, disinfect equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and use two patient identifiers for exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and reduce anxiety using clear communication.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
