Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification to perform high-quality CT imaging and support a patient-centered experience. You will operate radiology equipment safely, maintain ALARA principles, and ensure accurate documentation within RIS/PACS.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS, with at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT certification and BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to capture diagnostic-quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain CT dose within ALARA standards.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety using AIDET; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Deliver accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain department workflow and compliance.
