Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, and support a collaborative care team within a busy diagnostic radiology department.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (Basic Life Support) per American Heart Association

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Work independently with imaging/radiographic equipment, maintaining ALARA principles.
• Disinfect, clean and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history; verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast per protocol; venipuncture and sterile technique as applicable.
• Position patients; apply markers, shielding and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality; repeat as needed and release patients.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams.
• Monitor patient condition; respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
