Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles to minimize dose.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams; screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients, reducing anxiety using AIDET.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; maintain supplies and equipment.
