Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with emphasis on patient safety and diagnostic quality. You will work within Radiology to deliver high-quality imaging and maintain ALARA standards.

Requirements include ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and 1+ year radiology experience, with BLS. Join a supportive team at Wellstar and contribute to patient care across Georgia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure ALARA dose while maximizing image quality.
• Disinfect, clean, and maintain rooms and equipment; report any issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures using AIDET.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document procedures accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with life-support equipment as needed.
