Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages in Oxford, FL is seeking a CT Technologist Per Diem DAY to join our team. The position offers a per diem schedule with compensation of $43.00/hr, working at Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages under Select Medical.

Responsibilities include patient prep, accurate CT imaging, contrast administration, QA, and light clerical duties, with opportunities for growth and a supportive orientation program.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
  • Must hold current state license (as required).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
  • Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
  • Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
  • Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
  • Monitor patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
  • Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
  • Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Schedule: Per Diem/PRNCompensation:$43.00/hr.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



  • At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).

  • At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).

  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
