Select Medical's Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando South is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging, prep patients, and administer contrast. The role emphasizes precise imaging, safety, and collaboration with physicians in a post-ICU setting.

The position requires ARRT/CMRT, state license, BLS, and ongoing CE, with a sign-on bonus and full-time schedule in Orlando, FL. A strong orientation and supportive team await you.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
  • At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including schooling).
  • ARRT or CMRT certification; BLS; ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
  • Position patient and adjust technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
  • Operate CT scanner to obtain cross-sectional images of desired anatomy.
  • Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
  • Monitor for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
  • Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
  • Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
  • At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
