Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist for Per Diem – Nights On-Call, Day Shift Hours Saturday/Sunday. The role involves preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, operating the CT scanner to produce cross‑sectional images, and administering contrast as directed.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with active state license, 1 year CT Technologist experience, ARRT or CMRT certification, BLS, and ongoing CE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with an active state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT or CMRT certification; BLS.
• Continuing Education in licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and ensure a comfortable environment.
• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine QA on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Handle clerical duties such as answering phones.

Compensation: $33.50 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
