Job summary

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans and radiographic procedures in line with ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards. You will ensure patient safety, document procedures, and maintain efficient workflow in a high-volume radiology department.

The role emphasizes adherence to protocols, contrast administration, and accurate documentation of charges and patient history for radiologist interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current BLS certification per St. David's policy.
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiology.
• ARRT (CT) certification within 90 days of CT assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and x-rays according to ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards.
• Verify written orders match requisitions prior to exams.
• Follow appropriate protocol for each exam ordered.
• Administer contrast material using proper technique.
• Enter charges accurately and review for accuracy.
• Correlate patient history with the procedure for radiologist review.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize and optimize efficiency.
