Overview

Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. U.S. News & World Report ranks Christian Hospital No. 5 in St. Louis for overall clinical excellence and No. 9 in Missouri, placing us in the top 6% of all hospitals in the state.

The U.S. News adult methodology ranks clinical specialties and rates common care procedures and conditions. Christian Hospital was nationally ranked as “high performing” in geriatrics and in seven of 21 common procedures and conditions: heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke. High performing indicates top 10% nationally in these categories.

Northwest Healthcare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24-hour emergency care, a Sleep Disorders Center, and various outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. The Cat Scan at NWHC features a Siemens Somaton Sensation 16-slice scanner, enabling faster scans and reduced radiation exposure, with same-day service available.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment, ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities

1. Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
2. Performs studies independently, during on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required.

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
