CT Technologist PRN positions are available at levels 1-2, depending on experience and education.
Under general supervision, produces specialized images to aid the medical staff in the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients using computed tomography equipment.
Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program or within six weeks of graduation. CAAHEP accredited program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years required; CT experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: ARRT registration required within 6 months of hire. Advanced Certification in CT by ARRT required within 12 months. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; CAAHEP accredited program preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technologist required. Experience in the specialty preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Current CT credentials required by the hiring department. BLS certification required upon hire.
Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and Computer Aided Tomography. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Organizational and analytical skills.
