Job Requirements:

• RT (R), (CT), (ARRT), and BLS certifications
• Ability to function as a CT Technologist in performing examinations of patients of all ages
• Competency in PACS process and daily QA
• Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills
• Proficiency with technical diagnostic equipment
• Use of radiation protection and shielding to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Up-to-date vaccinations and passing health screenings, including drug and background checks

Job Responsibilities:

• Proper use and maintenance of CT equipment
• Performing CT examinations, including those requiring contrast agents
• Managing patients during complex CT exams
• Following instructions and communicating effectively with patients and staff
• Labeling and managing images, resolving QA issues, and ensuring timely radiologist review
• Adhering to radiation safety policies
• Supporting team productivity and assisting radiologists as needed

Physical Effort:

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform patient positioning and equipment adjustments
• Prolonged standing and walking during scans and patient handling
