CT Technologist PRN Positions are available at levels 1-2, depending on experience and education.
***This position will be a part of the new Mobile Lung Cancer Screening unit. All scans will be performed without contrast on self-ambulatory individuals. Under general supervision, produces specialized images to aid the medical staff in the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients using computed tomography equipment.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program or within six weeks of graduation. CAAHEP accredited program with emphasis in cardiovascular or radiologic technology preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience; CT experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: ARRT registration required within 6 months of hire. Advanced Certification in CT by ARRT required within 12 months. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; CAAHEP accreditation preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technologist. Specialty experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: CT credentials required by the hiring department must be current. BLS certification required upon hire.
Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and Computer Aided Tomography. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to organize and analyze data.
