Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a CT Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will perform routine and specialized CT imaging, position patients, start IVs when needed, and ensure high-quality scans for diagnostic purposes.

The role requires CT certification or registry eligibility, Kansas licensure, and on-call availability within 30 minutes. A strong patient-care focus and attention to radiation safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Must hold a current Kansas license to practice radiology.
• ARRT registration must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years CT experience preferred with CT-specific training.
• On-call availability with 30-minute notice.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on CT table and assist during imaging procedures.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room and sterilize equipment between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule: coverage needed Saturday night shift + other shifts available

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB- CT certification or registry-eligible required within 6 months of hire.
• Must hold a current license with the Kansas board of healing arts
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
