Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging while adhering to established radiation safety and departmental standards.

You will position patients, start IVs for contrast when needed, ensure image quality, and provide post-procedure instructions. On-call availability is required with rapid response.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT‑CT or NMTCB‑CT certification or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Current license with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
• ARRT Radiographer registration must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of CT scanning experience preferred.
• On-call required and must report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

What you will do in this role

• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post‑procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT‑CT or NMTCB‑CT certification or registry‑eligible required within 6 months of hire.
• Must hold a current license with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
