Job summary

Menorah Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technologist WEP to perform standard, portable, and specialized X-ray exams. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure image quality for radiologist interpretation.

Position features weekend day shifts (7:00am–7:00pm) and responsibilities include film processing, PACS transfer, contrast administration, aseptic technique, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an AMA accredited Radiographic Technology program with certificate or degree.
• Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining continuing education credits bi-annually (24 credits).
• Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program).
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Technologist operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule: Baylor position! 2 weekend day shifts, 7:00am-7:00pm

What you will do in this role:
