Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT exams per departmental protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners, assist radiologists, verify orders, and gather patient histories while ensuring safety and accuracy throughout the procedure.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification with CT registry within one year of hire and BLS. Expect shift rotation, patient care, and collaboration with radiology staff at Pineville.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or NMTCB required with CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT Scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; verify orders with Radiologist when needed.
• Manage IV contrast administration and related documentation.
• Maintain radiation safety and follow infection control protocols.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT
