Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking a CT technologist on a per diem basis. You will perform diagnostic and interventional CT exams under established guidelines, working with Medical Imaging leadership to shape operating policies and procedures.

The role requires ARRT registry and CT registry, WA RT license, CPR certification, and prior imaging experience. This position supports the Eastside community with flexible per diem hours and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS in Radiology or equivalent training program.
• ARRT registry and ARRT CT registry required upon hire.
• WA RT license required with DOH verification.
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Lead position requires prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional CT exams per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Medical Imaging leadership to develop procedures.
• Serve as a role model and resource within the department.

A CT technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures.The person in this role is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional CT exams and procedures within these established guidelines. Serves as a role model and resource within the department.

Per Diem

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program

• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred. For Lead position, a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred.

• ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.

• ARRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire.

• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification

• Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium).

• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire

• Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for position
