Key responsibilities include operating imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques for optimal results, maintaining equipment and infection control, obtaining patient histories, explaining procedures using AIDET, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Additional duties involve administering contrast via venipuncture, positioning patients, reviewing images for diagnostic quality, documenting procedures accurately, and supporting emergency response and departmental workflow.
Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
