Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to join our night-shift CT team. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT-CT certified or eligible, with an Ohio Radiographer license and BLS. Cross-training is available and teamwork is essential for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT credential or within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probation.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential; 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to ensure comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and able to work under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, Nurses, Physicians and care team.
