Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the CT team in our Radiology Department in Ohio. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient care for both inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration with CT credential (or obtain within one year), an Ohio Radiographer license, and AHA BLS certification. This is a full-time night-shift position with cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Collaborate with CT team and other care team members to deliver patient-centered care.
