Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT in Radiology with CT credential or obtain within one year, an Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS. This night-shift position requires effective communication and the ability to work under stress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• One year related CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Communicate effectively and work under stress.
• Collaborate with CT team, nurses, physicians.
