Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio. The role involves producing high-quality CT images and assisting with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements.

You will coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, and educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure comfort and understanding. The position requires ARRT CT credentials (or obtained within one year), Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with CT credential or within 1 year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) valid.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Maintain effective communication with the care team and patients.
