Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join the Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT (Radiography) with CT credential (or plan to obtain within one year), and an Ohio radiographer license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination.
• On-the-spot critical thinking; work under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
