Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.

This role requires ARRT certification and an Ohio radiographer license, with opportunities to cross-train within the CT department. The ideal candidate has strong anatomy knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
