Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night shift, performing CT imaging and CT-guided procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The role supports inpatients and outpatients in a dynamic hospital setting.

Ideal candidates are ARRT certified with a CT credential (or within 1 year), hold an Ohio Radiographer License, and have BLS. Teamwork and the ability to work under stress in a level-one trauma environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist; CT credential required within 1 year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtainable within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT certification and 1 year related CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team; respond effectively under supervision.
