Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans, follow safety and infection control protocols, and contribute to efficient patient care. You will document exams accurately in EMR and PACS, manage IV contrast administration, and communicate clearly with patients and the care team.

The role requires strong knowledge of CT procedures, patient safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced imaging department, with a Night shift schedule and opportunities for sign-on

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARRT RT(R) and RT(CT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations following provider orders.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Educate patients about the exam and obtain consent as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow departmental protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and potential contraindications.
