Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a CT technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, operate imaging equipment safely, and administer IV contrast under physician orders.

You will document results in EMR/PACS, educate patients about each exam, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure continuity of care while adhering to ALARA principles. A preferred associate or bachelor’s degree and active ARRT licensure are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in radiology and CT training preferred.
• AT the time of hiring, ARRT licensure and BLS certification preferred.
• Cross-functional teamwork and patient-centered care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to orders and protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast material with patient safety in mind.
• Educate patients about exams and maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
