Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, adhering to department protocols and radiation safety standards. You will review patient history, position patients, and operate scanners with attention to ALARA principles while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires strong communication, English fluency, and the ability to work with radiologists and the care team. Night shifts, full-time schedule, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to learn and use new technology.
• Cross-Sectional Anatomy knowledge.
• Cardiac & Vascular skills.

Responsibilities

• Shift schedule includes nights, often Tue-Thu 6:30pm–7am.
• Operate CT equipment safely and follow ALARA principles.
• Review patient history and confirm exam appropriateness.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educate patients about the exam and ensure timely completion.
• Perform IV contrast administration with safety.
