Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to provide high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, document results in the EMR, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support accurate diagnoses.

Requirements include ARRT CT, BLS, at least 1 year radiology experience, and a commitment to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Follows protocols for patient ID, consent, and time-out before exams.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about the exam and manages workflow efficiently.
• Operates CT equipment safely and adjusts protocols for all ages.
