Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the radiology team. The role supports CT imaging, performs CT-guided procedures, and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and technologists to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates are ARRT registered in Radiography, hold an ARRT CT credential or obtain within a year, and possess an Ohio Radiographer license. A BLS certification is required or obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging procedures according to protocol.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure comfort.
• Works effectively under stress and with minimal supervision.
