Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will play a key role in a collaborative radiology team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a radiologic technology background, and a commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on safety and precision.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS through American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and obtain two patient identifiers prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
• Complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart as required.
• Keep workflow organized and ensure department compliance.
