Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join our CT team in the MetroHealth Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures, while coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT certification with CT credentials (or obtainable within one year), Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
