Job summary

MetroHealth radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images across trauma and inpatient settings. You will assist with CT-guided biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations while coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires strong anatomy knowledge, ARRT certification, Ohio licensure, and BLS. You will educate patients and work closely with nurses, physicians, and other care-team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• 0
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinates patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and maintains professional conduct under stress.
• Collaborates with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and care-team members to deliver optimal care.
