Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the department on night shifts in Northeast Ohio. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, BLS, and strong teamwork under pressure. Biweekly hours total 60 with 5x12hr night shifts, on-call rotation, and every-other-Sunday coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
