Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients during night shifts.

This role requires ARRT CT credential, Ohio licensure, and BLS. The position offers 60 hours biweekly, 5x12 hour night shifts, every other Sunday on weekends, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations for understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Collaborate with CT team, nurses, physicians and other care staff to ensure high-quality care.
