Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to support the Radiology Department during night shifts (7p–7a), 5x12hr shifts every two weeks, with every-other Sunday coverage. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, patient scheduling, and educating patients to ensure comfort and understanding.

A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered to external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort
• On the spot critical thinking
• Effective communication skills
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team
