Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio is seeking a CT Tech for night shifts (5x12s, 60 hrs biweekly) at the MetroHealth Medical Center. The role includes CT image acquisition, assisting with CT-guided procedures, patient scheduling, and education to ensure patient comfort.

Opportunities cross-train, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants. Join a team supporting trauma, stroke, cancer and other critical cases in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered ARRT radiologic technologist.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking.
• Effective communication with the care team.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
