Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our CT team. The role entails producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

You will educate patients on procedures and maintain high-quality imaging standards. Required are ARRT radiology credentials, CT credential (within one year), an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam processes.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team under supervision as needed.
