Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio seeks a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT imaging equipment and support patient care in a fast-paced radiology unit.

You will perform CT examinations, assist radiologists, and participate in CT-guided procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and safety protocols is essential; the role requires teamwork and the ability to handle high-stress situations. Night shifts with a 5x12 schedule, every other Sunday on call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probation.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and perform a variety of CT examinations.
• Assist radiologists and nursing staff in imaging procedures.
• Perform CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure patient comfort during exams.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and safety.
