Job summary

MetroHealth System in Parma, Ohio, seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist for CT imaging and CT-guided procedures on the night shift. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with biopsies and drain placements, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients to ensure smooth throughput.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification, with CT credential or within one year. Collaboration with nurses, physicians, and the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
