Job summary

MetroHealth System in Northeast Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations in a Level One Trauma Center environment. Nights shift with 5x12-hr blocks every two weeks, including every other Sunday, with on-site collaboration with nurses, physicians and radiologists.

Responsibilities include CT imaging, IV starts, biopsies and procedures coordination, patient education, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a high-volume radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and perform CT procedures.
• Assist radiologists and nursing staff across care teams.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients within radiology.
